\nthis recipe<\/a>\u00a0makes 2 dozen large cookies.<\/p>\n

Ingredients:<\/p>\n

1 cup (2 sticks) margarine, at room temperature
\n1 1\/2 cups dark brown sugar
\n3 Tbsp. honey
\n2 eggs
\n1 1\/2 cups all-purpose flour
\n1 Tbsp. cinnamon
\n1 tsp. salt
\n4 cups old-fashioned rolled oats (NOT quick-cooking oatmeal)
\n3 cups roughly chopped moist dates<\/p>\n

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0 F. Line 3 cookie sheets with baking parchment paper.<\/p>\n

Cream margarine and brown sugar in large bowl. Beat in honey and eggs until mixture is smooth.<\/p>\n

Sift flour, cinnamon, and salt together. Stir into creamed mixture with a wooden spoon. Add oats and chopped dates. Stir until well combined.<\/p>\n

Shape dough into 2-inch balls, flattening with your palm on the cookie sheet. Bake until light brown, around 15 minutes. As soon as you take the cookies out of the oven, use a spatula to carefully place on wire racks to cool.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
