During the times of Noach the world \u201cwas full of theft\u201d. In other words, everyone was stealing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This begs the question: Why was everyone so caught up in theft? Didn\u2019t some people have a conscience?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The answer is that people are susceptible to \u201cwhat everyone else is doing\u201d. If that\u2019s what\u2019s \u201cnormal\u201d, that\u2019s what they want for themselves. They see it as truth and they see it as inevitable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But that isn’t the case. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Habits come and go; even ideologies come and go. The Torah has stood the tests of time and remains a bulwark pulling us in the proper direction. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In Maimonidies\u2019 famous words: “It is human nature to be drawn after those around us, therefore, it is always important to surround ourselves with good people.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In contemporary times, this can be done by participating only in technology and social media that are a good influence, not bad ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
