It’s definitely soup weather now. Piping hot and delicious, this will keep you warm on the snowiest of days.<\/p>\n

Ingredients:<\/p>\n

6 onions, sliced
\n2 tsp salt
\n1 tsp pepper
\n1\/2 cup dry red wine
\n8 cups boiling water
\n2-4 Tbsp oil
\n2 Tbsp flour or oat bran
\nOptional: 1\/4 cup onion soup mix<\/p>\n

Saut\u00e9 onions until golden. Add salt, pepper, flour and soup mix, if using. Saut\u00e9 a few more minutes. Add wine and water; cook thirty minutes more.
\nServe with croutons and\/or grated cheese.<\/p>\n
