{"id":3609,"date":"2020-02-27T21:14:44","date_gmt":"2020-02-27T21:14:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.oorahspirit.org\/?p=3609"},"modified":"2020-02-27T21:14:44","modified_gmt":"2020-02-27T21:14:44","slug":"crumb-cake-hamantaschen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fargate.dev.torahmates.org\/jewish-resources\/crumb-cake-hamantaschen\/","title":{"rendered":"Crumb Cake Hamantaschen"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>New Twist on an Old Favorite<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Ingredients&nbsp;(11)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3>Crumb Cake Hamentashen<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0<strong>2<\/strong>\u00a0eggs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0<strong>1\/2 cup<\/strong>\u00a0oil<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0<strong>3\/4 cup<\/strong>\u00a0sugar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0<strong>1 teaspoon<\/strong>\u00a0baking powder<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0<strong>1\/2 teaspoon<\/strong>\u00a0salt<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0<strong>2 teaspoons<\/strong>\u00a0vanilla sugar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0<strong>3 &#8211; 3 and 1\/4 cups<\/strong>\u00a0flour<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Crumbs<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0<strong>1 cup<\/strong>\u00a0sugar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0<strong>1 and 1\/2 cups<\/strong>\u00a0flour<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0<strong>1\/2 cup<\/strong>\u00a0oil (start with 1\/2 and if too dry add in an additional 1 \u2013 2 tablespoons)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0<strong>1 teaspoon<\/strong>\u00a0cinnamon<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Start Cooking<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3>Prepare the Hamentaschen<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Mix the eggs, oil, and sugar together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add in the baking powder, salt, and vanilla sugar, and mix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add in the flour and mix until a dough forms. (If dough is wet add in one to three tablespoons more flour, one at a time.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a separate bowl in all the ingredients for the crumbs together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Roll out the dough and cut out circles. Fill with about one to one and 1\/2 teaspoons of the crumb filling.
