{"id":2266,"date":"2017-11-16T21:11:18","date_gmt":"2017-11-16T21:11:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/18.191.22.100\/?p=2266"},"modified":"2017-11-16T21:11:18","modified_gmt":"2017-11-16T21:11:18","slug":"double-chocolate-bars","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fargate.dev.torahmates.org\/jewish-resources\/double-chocolate-bars\/","title":{"rendered":"Double Chocolate Bars"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Chocolate lovers, this great <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kosher.com\/recipe\/chocolate-chocolate-chip-sticks-recipe-3212\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">recipe<\/a> is for you!<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 sticks margarine, softened<\/li>\n<li>2\/3\u00a0cup sugar<\/li>\n<li>1\u00a0egg<\/li>\n<li>2 tsp\u00a0vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li>1 bar quality chocolate, melted<\/li>\n<li>1 1\/2\u00a0cups flour<\/li>\n<li>1\/2\u00a0tsp baking soda<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp\u00a0salt<\/li>\n<li>3\/4 cup extra-mini chocolate chips<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Instructions:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.<\/li>\n<li>Beat margarine and sugar until fluffy. Add in egg and vanilla. Beat in melted chocolate. Scrape sides of bowl to make sure all ingredients are incorporated.<\/li>\n<li>Add in flour, baking soda, and salt and mix well. Stir in mini chocolate chips.<\/li>\n<li>Divide the dough into three. Wet hands and shape into thin flat rectangles on the baking sheet. Leave space between each rectangle, as the loaves will spread significantly. Bake for 25-30 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Cool 10 minutes.
